Isaiah Davis
Native to East Flatbush, Brooklyn, New York, Isaiah Davis has dedicated his life to expanding opportunities for students. No matter the classroom or boardroom, he leads with passion driven by his faith in Christ. As a writer and a strategist, he believes in the power of education to change lives and the responsibility of leadership to make it happen.
With a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from the University of Buffalo and a master’s in higher education administration from Buffalo State University, Isaiah brings both deep thought and real-world action to his work. He has fought for students at Harlem Children’s Zone, advocated for equity in Fort Worth middle schools, and guided aspiring charter school founders in Houston to bring their vision to life.
Now, as Chief of Staff for the Texas State Board of Education, District 4, Isaiah ensures that policy is more than paperwork—it’s a pathway to justice. A former middle school basketball coach, he understands that mentorship is just as important as legislation. A lover of classical music, he knows that change, like a great composition, requires precision, patience, and power. As one of the founders of the ETC Lab, his commitment to providing opportunities to students remains at the forefront of his decision-making everyday.
Isaiah moves with purpose. His work is about more than politics—it’s about people. And he’s just getting started.
Staci Childs
Since the age of seven, when she was chosen by her peers to speak to city officials, Staci Childs has felt called by God to lead. Even as a child, she understood the power of using her voice to advocate for her community, and that calling has only grown stronger over the years. Today, Staci is a dedicated public servant, strategist, and advocate, shaping the future of education and politics in Texas and beyond.
Elected to the Texas State Board of Education in 2022, Staci represents Houston with a commitment to ensuring all students have access to quality education. She is currently working with Texas legislators to secure a $6 million legislative appropriation to support students at low-performing campuses and successfully consulted with a Houston-area charter school to prevent its closure. As an attorney and policy expert, she has remained a trusted voice on issues of education equity, community engagement, and political strategy.
Beyond her elected role, Staci is the co-founder of The ETC Lab. Through The ETC Lab, she works to bridge the gap between policy and the people it impacts, fostering spaces for learning, advocacy, and meaningful change. Whether through consulting, public speaking, or direct action, Staci is committed to helping leaders and communities navigate the complexities of politics and governance.
Her work has been recognized on a national scale, with keynote addresses at major conferences, leadership in political consulting through 8 Billion Consulting, and thought leadership on her podcast, Listen Clearly. Whether she’s on stage, in the boardroom, or in the community, Staci brings a relentless commitment to progress, ensuring that those often left out of the conversation have a seat at the table.
For Staci, leadership isn’t just about politics—it’s about people. And she’s just getting started.
